Hey there, thanks for stopping by! I'm Joy, a Pharmacist, Data Scientist & Health Informaticist.

I am passionate about improving patient safety & positive health outcomes; and using numbers is a great way of doing just that. By analyzing and interpreting data, I am able to identify patterns and trends that help improve the health of the population.

I enjoy creating reports and visualizations that equip top management make informed decisions that have real-life impacts on the lives of patients. I use Python, R, Tableau, and SQL on a daily basis. I also apply machine learning techniques in python and R for predictive modeling.

These tools and techniques can be applied to reduce diagnostic errors in healthcare as well as in prevention and treatment strategies that lead to cost reduction, better quality healthcare delivery, improved patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes.
